Thesis Kits

The available dressing kits consist of: Sterile open-cell polyurethane foam filler, available in two versions: black PU foam for debridement and stimulation of tissue growth, and white PU foam for absorption and tissue regrowth. The texture of the black PU foam makes it ideal for managing medium to high levels of exudate, unlike the white foam, which is better suited for drier wounds or those with medium to low levels of exudate. Both types are available in 10x10x3 cm and 20x20x3 cm sizes, adaptable to different wound types and anatomical locations, and perfectly conformable to the wound bed. Sterile drainage tube consisting of a screw terminal for connection to the suction system, a clamp for flow interruption, a wound positioning pad with a contoured adhesive film that allows for uniform distribution of negative pressure across the entire wound, and a Luer-lock connector for manual instillation of irrigation fluids into the wound bed. Sterile transparent polyurethane film (30x30 cm) for adhesion to the edges and covering the foam dressing. The film features numerical markings indicating the different layers to remove to guide the correct and orderly application of the dressing.
